Lines indicate properties with frontage that must comply with building lines relative to the road and pedestrian walkways. Applies to selected properties in the Business Zone. It requires all buildings to be built right up to the front (road) boundary. It typically applies to prime retail/CBD areas.
A 20 metre frontage requirement to assist in minimising conflict between the road and a building. It helps preserve amenity and pedestrian safety. Relates to the implementation of the District Plan under the Resource Management Act (1991), and may be subject to various limitations and conditions. These features are a spatial representation of the policies and objectives of the Waikato District Plan and indicate where policies, overlays and District Plan rules apply.
